Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.

 

Oakwood Property Solicitors is seeking a Conveyancing Receptionist to provide administrative and front-of-house support to Fee Earners handling residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, leasehold and freehold matters.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established legal firm based in Leeds.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support the conveyancing team by:

  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently and accurately
  • Providing administrative support throughout the conveyancing transaction process
  • Opening, closing, filing, storing and retrieving client files in accordance with firm procedures
  • Ensuring strict confidentiality and security of client and firm documentation
  • Arranging client appointments and meetings
  • Acting as the first point of contact for clients, providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service

 

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a professional, client-focused approach.

You will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in conveyancing or a legal administrative role (preferred)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and case management systems
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive and reliable work ethic
